Wildflower Research

The Texas Bluebonnet or Fabaceae and the scientific name is Lupinus texensis.  The Texas Bluebonnet grows all over Texas.  The Texas Bluebonnet has pretty blue petals along with white tips and a long stem.   It’s in bloom March-May and can get up to 1-2 feet tall.   The Texas Bluebonnet is the Texas state flower.   It’s a big big deal because it is against the law to pick one.
