Dear Diary,
I want to be a basketmaker when I grow up. I think it is cool how you make them because,
what you do the men go to cut the trees and us women have to wait for it then we soak them in water and get a hammer and make it flat and flexible, then you wait for it to dry and then you start to make a basket you move the pieces of wood this way and that way then you get a basket. That is why I think it is cool and I get satisfied very easily watching it be made. I can’t wait until i’m old enough to learn how to make a basket all by myself. … Wait I have a perfect idea let me go ask my mom if she can teach me how to make a basket. A few moments later…Oh my goodness my wish came true all i had to do was ask her. The reason why i want to be a basketmaker is because they have a true talent. There is another reason why I want to be a basketmaker I think i could make some of my own designs and sell them for good amount of money because I took the time to really think about my design and give it up and selling it.
